Over my many years on this earth I’ve learned a very important fact:

Once any suggestion is taken up by any governmental body, regardless as to the hostility that arises from the voters, it will ALWAYS pass sometime in the future.

It’s just a matter of time.

That's probably because he wants to sell our control to the Chinese for a couple trillion dollars to keep him afloat a bit longer.
