Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore lashed out at the National Rifle Association this afternoon after news broke about the horrific shooting in Connecticut.
“The NRA hates freedom,” he wrote on Twitter. “They don’t want you to have the freedom to send your children to school & expect them to come home alive.”
Moore insisted earlier that it was important for gun control proponents to discuss the issue – especially during times of tragedy.
“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” he wrote.

The Obama administration sold guns to Mexican drug cartels that were used to kill untold numbers of people and a US border patrol agent.
Besides the deaths that resulted from Fast Furious, how many innocent people have been killed by the guns that Obama has supplied to Islamic radicals in the Middle East? ….besides the four in Benghazi.
