Well I stand corrected. I’m not sure as to the point that you’re making, that such guns should be illegal? Ban anything over a .45?

The media is going to portray this as that the law allows anybody to buy a personal armory that could allow you to take on an army, and so guns should be banned.

I’m just trying to counter that before it takes off.

We're on the same page, the primary distinction between "assault rifle/weapons" and "military style" or "assault style" that media has recently adopted is select fire, aka full auto capability.

I would prefer that any tool available to LEO or military also be legal for law abiding US citizens to buy and own, but I am in the minority....

CONN & NJ have the most onerous gun laws in America, shooter in this case broke about 25 of them before he even fired a shot. More "gun control" is not the solution.
