I have heard recently that neurologists, the docs who treat many of the diseases of old age are being targeted for cutbacks that could herald their extinction. This is probably happening because those who are instructed to makes cuts across the board are ignorant “lay” men and women who have not a clue about the medical needs of a complex society.
