Kerry is a poor choice for nearly anything, but under the circumstances he is just as harmless as SOS as a Senator. And with a bit of luck we could pick up his seat.

You may be right about Hillary having no authority but her agenda's so similar to Obama's, who'd know the difference?

As for picking up Kerry's seat, MA is hopeless IMO. Brown was an aberration and he was easily sliced and diced by the Democrat machine.
