If Boehner had any balls, which we all know he does not, he would tell Obama there will be no further discussions until such time as Obama submits a itemized proposal of spending reductions which would bring the country back to financial reality. Further, that Congress will be going into recess no later than Friday, December 21 and returning no sooner than Wednesday, January 2. The only way to deal with Obama is to treat him like the child that he is.
By staying in session, Boehner and the GOP will enrage Obama by forcing him to cancel his Hawaiian vacation. It’s time for the Boehner and the GOP to play hardball and send Obama a message.
