I’d bet money that they don’t have a clue when or what the makeup of the US will be in 2043. Also, I don’t plan to give up teaching and preaching what is right about our country. Too much giving up on here IMO. It’s very unAmerican! I grew up in Oklahoma which has always had a large Indian population. It’s one of the reddest states in the union. No county voted for Obama in 2008 or 2012.

Interesting observation. Do the Indians in OK live mostly on reservations or have they mixed in with the general population?

We live in a split community in rural Alaska, small White town and 4 miles away Indian Village. It has always been that way, people want it that way; even though most of the Indians are half breeds, they still see themselves as Indians because they were raised the Native way in the village. Everybody wants to be separate, yet there isn't a hint of racism. Sure some of the churchy Whites look down on the Indians over the alcohol problems, but no racial hatred and it shows at dinners & potlatches where everybody turns out. We had a huge flood a few years back and the Indians were the first to share what they had. The Indian corporation flew their own plane in with supplies, FEMA wasn't here for another week. The supplies were for Indian or White.

So why do I see such a disparity concerning integrity between Indians who are quite upstanding and Urban Blacks in our cities; they are both minorities?
