“field-induced” — sounds an awful like EM transmissions. I wonder what the Human race is going to look like 10,000 years from now. Will we be born ‘wired in’ with our own biological network receivers?
That is of course if we survive.

I seem to remember something similar that came out in the 1970's to this, but I can't remember the specifics.
I keep thinking if the old Zager and Evans song, "In the Year 2525....."
I know they had electroluminescence back in the 1950's, I have an old Life Magazine from 1956 that showed a whole room lit up with electroluminescent panels made by Westinghouse here in Pittsburgh. The 1960 Chrysler Imperial had an electroluminescent dashboard.
