Police say three teens charged in the fatal shooting of a western Pennsylvania woman targeted her after she told them to "get a job" when she saw them trying to bum a cigarette off her boyfriend.
Beaver Falls police have charged 14-year-olds Todavia Cleckley and Marcus Velasquez and Kyle Goosby Jr., 13, with criminal homicide and other charges in Saturday's shooting of Kayla Peterson, 22. She was shot at about 3:30 p.m. that day and died in a Pittsburgh hospital two hours later.
Goosby is in custody and his attorney says he was just "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when Velasquez -- identified as the gunman by police and Peterson's boyfriend -- opened fire.
Beaver Falls Police Chief Charles Jones says officers are still searching for the other two suspects.
The most common pre-mugging or pre-beating question a feral youth will ask is, “Hey buddy, got a cigarette?” or “Hey, got a light?”
Warning bells should sound if anyone asks you these questions.
"You are correct on this but is an irrelevant point."
Since it was the only point I was making, not sure how its irrelevant.
The American press today is chillingly Orwellian.
Sadly, millions of parents from suburbia never learned this, and are too PC-minded to ever pass such lore onto their offspring. So they go as lambs to slaughter when they walk into Realityville, USA.
In fact, that period of education will serve me very well. I saw criminals in the act of planning, or sometimes, debriefing after-the-fact, thier crimes. One stands out:
I was in the drug trap house, and two crackhead chicks had just robbed a room in a Microtel. The black fellow who was critiquing the crime chastised them severely for stealing from a room right across the hall from their room. He remarked, "Man, you don't DO that, they got cameras. You on FILM now, bitch! Next time you call me or **** or #### and we send a hood-n****a in there, he's wearin' a hoodie and a baseball cap and HE does it!"
Criminals think, plan, and operate much as any other group of individuals do. They use common sense, formulate plans, and use their experience to improve their craft. I had always viewed crime as an impulse thing, this was my awakening that this was not necessarily so.
I am sorry if I misread you some ways.
No problem. Sorry if I was unclear.
Is there anything more offensive in Obamaland than being told to get a job?
They need to pack the jury with 47%ers and get these poor, oppressed children off easy.
do I need a sarcasm tag?
She doesn’t look like someone who would tell someone else to get a job. Did she have a job?
Asian Teenage Girls
lolz
That will happen after thet get off for a technicality. Her use of "fighting words" they might argue made the shooting "self defense"... or something... a jury of sheeple might buy it.
Probably because even though many folks use the Color of Crime data and study, when you Google it you frequently get the American Renaissance link
whatever...AmRen can be contentious and Sam Francis was never loved here by the Mods
but Vdare gets banned too
that one I understand less...Malkin and plenty others link Vdare
it is what it is...the PC stuff here today is a lot less than it was when I started...i remember when being anti amnesty was deemed bigoted
more and more folks know what time it is...no question of that...racialist sites banned or not
You left out Alex Jones' InfoWars.com.
We are getting to the point where InfoWars, VDare and AmRen represent mainstream opinion among more and more right-wingers.
Upon further reflection, I think the reason those sites are unwelcome here is because they are occasionally anti-Semitic as well as being critical of black folks.
The reason being that the study was published by "New Century Foundation", who also publishes "American Renaissance". That doesn't make the article any less true.
that is because what those folks feared happening is now happening
my grandfather and father were far right GOP in the south way way before it was cool although both refused to join the Citizens Council and were moderate on civil rights but before they each died they expressed fear that what folks they view as white extremists feared was now going to happen along with the path to Socialism and Godless culture
it's sure not hard to see their fears and those of the racists of the time were not unreasonable looking back now
but even they could not see the immigration issue and how basically every minority in the country would align with liberal mostly urban whites to form this hard majority and force this on the nation
that is pretty much where we are now...the canard that as minorities became more prosperous they would get more conservative is just that..a myth
The key is that so many have decided that their prosperity is dependent upon the Democrats. Middle-class blacks are thinking that if Affirmative Action went away, they would lose their middle-class jobs, and their kids would not be accepted by good colleges. Plus many work in the public sector.
It's done for the same reason that a shark bumps an intended victim before biting. You see what reaction you get before committing to an attack. If the target gives an impression of weakness, then they attack.
A relatively small number of full-time criminals is responsible for a relatively-large percentage of robberies, burglaries, and theft.
About six months ago, they decided to put a hunch to the test. Janikowski merged his computer map of crime patterns with Bettss map of Section8 rentals. Where Janikowski saw a bunny rabbit, Betts saw a sideways horseshoe (He has a better imagination, she said). Otherwise, the match was near-perfect. On the merged map, dense violent-crime areas are shaded dark blue, and Section8 addresses are represented by little red dots. All of the dark-blue areas are covered in little red dots, like bursts of gunfire. The rest of the city has almost no dots.Coming very soon to a neighborhood near you.Betts remembers her discomfort as she looked at the map. The couple had been musing about the connection for months, but they were amazedand deflatedto see how perfectly the two data sets fit together. She knew right away that this would be a hard thing to say or write. Nobody in the antipoverty community and nobody in city leadership was going to welcome the news that the noble experiment that theyd been engaged in for the past decade had been bringing the city down, in ways theyd never expected. But the connection was too obvious to ignore, and Betts and Janikowski figured that the same thing must be happening all around the country. Eventually, they thought, theyd find other researchers who connected the dots the way they had, and then maybe they could get city leaders, and even national leaders, to listen.
