If some person alleged to be on the Right did anything approaching this or said anything this appalling we would hear a LOT more

This is their support for the claim that it is a required Muslim practice.
And then this is how they describe the practice:

The practice described in A is not the same at that described in B. Any more than circumcision of a male is the same thing as amputation of the penis.
Big deal. We have pervert-pandering doctors charging a fortune for these genital mutilation procedures and we call them transgenders.

The radical Left can make common cause with radical Islam because they are "brothers" of the same "father."
I don't have a clue what non-radical Islam looks like. Though I am told that most Muslims are good, moderate, pious people of Peace, I notice that, historically, this people tends to wreak havoc wherever it goes; and it's always on the move. It is, after all, under Allah's command to "Muslimize" the human race, by the sword if necessary.
I also notice that, when they're not busy murdering the infidel, or the detested Jews, they're busy murdering each other. And mutilating their women. And as the article points out, they're doing all these things with the the full "blessings" of the Imams, the clerical class.
Though it is politically incorrect to say it, I do not believe that Allah is any kind of god. For openers, he's in the human slavery business — all believers must subject themselves utterly to his demands, or be killed. (Neither Christianity nor Judaism require abject submission to God.)
But what are those demands? I hypothesize they are the sort of "demands" that would come to the disordered mind of a primitive, barbaric sixth-century Bedouin warlord by the name of Mohammed. I further speculate that "Allah" is merely the "projection" of the mind of this guy.
For Evil is as Evil does.
Anyhoot, it seems the Islamic hierarchy of being goes something like this: Men must utterly submit themselves to the Will of Allah; women must utterly submit themselves to the will of men.
Needless to say, I find this a very disagreeable arrangement. And I do believe that there are thousands of Muslim women in Egypt right now, seeking equal rights under just laws, who would agree with me.
They know the Muslim Brotherhood is not their friend: Sharia law locks them into de facto slavery forever....
My heart goes out to them.

Well, Islam sort of practices sex change in female “circumcision”. They do their best to turn them into little boys.
“Kill all but the children”, is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Male genital mutilation—AKA circumcision—is also a very widespread practice in the U.S. that for some reason doesn’t get nearly the same level of attention/concern. I’ve always wondered why.

Spirited: Indeed, and as ‘brothers’ they have this in common: denial of free will and personal accountability.
Brother Leftist denies moral culpability in terms of cause. Nothing bad can ever be his fault because he is genetically, environmentally and chemically determined and caused to think, speak and do whatever (fill in the blanks).
Brother Muslim denies personal responsibility for his libido by making females culpable: “If she had not looked at him just so or had been wearing her burqa, none of this would have happened.”
Both brothers have this in common as well: victimhood-—they are angry victims.
A difference might be that female genitalia mutilation takes away the ability of a female to enjoy sex. Circumcision does not do the same to a male.

I have no respect or consideration for a religion that focuses harm on others. Islam is a false religion and one that is based on hate and fear.
But, if they want to mess with my family, I’ll show them the true meaning of what sheer utter terror feels like.
