I know of an ER doc whose first patient in a new town was a five year old torn to pieces by two dogs that register to those not concerned with the niceties of dog breed distinctions, as pit bulls. They looked like the dog with Spanky and Our Gang. That was a pit bull, non?

The child was walking across a parking lot, two dogs jumped out of the back of a pick up, ripped him to shreds and jumped back in the truck to await Master's Voice. (Nipper the RCA dog was a pit bull mix) The child died.
