Bob Corker says he and probably many other GOP senators would consider raising the top tax rate paid by the wealthiest Americans if it meant reforming big entitlement programs such as Medicare.

We have a GOP problem. RIP Republican party (1854-2012).
A few did run against him. They just didn’t stand a chance. I met them all during the primary campaign and was impressed by a couple of them; liked their stances on the issues. They just couldn’t get any momentum.
Another one was totally fruit-loopy.
So we ended up stuck with him another 6 years. :-(
Obama steals $700 billion from Medicare and he skates. GOP wants Medicare reforms and they’re evil and want seniors to eat dog food. Clearly one party has a much better PR program.
Ah! The “go along to get along” party doing its “thing” once again.
If you voted Republican and don’t see a need for a third party you have no right to complain.
What he is saying is that those tax cuts are automatic and so there is nothing Rs can do with only one house to pass them.
The question is do Republicans want all those taxes to go up, and get credit for it?
