This is not opinion but news of the apparently official Russian government position. Not backing down.

This is MUCH more serious than we are being led to believe, in the USA.
We love “Syrian Rebels” enough to have a VERY SERIOUS problem with Russia? Cuz that’s what we are looking at, here —the snake is rattling it’s tail in a very major way, here.
It could be WWIII, in return for helping freaking Al Qaeda against a mob that is comparatively SECULAR.
Hey that’sTHREE strikes, right in a row. WHAT WOULD THE FOUNDERS SAY...?

With the capable leaders that we have just elected, there is nothing to worry about./s Prayers tonight to a mercyful God are in order however.

Russia says it has no special interest in seeing Assad remain in power, but that the Syrian people should decide his fate.I don't believe Russia really feels that way but I do. Our only involvement should have been to quarantine the violence within Syria's borders.

Additionally, we do not have International Law or the UN on our side in Syria. We did in Korea, Vietnam, Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya...
And any False Flag stuff was conventional weapons.
If we False Flag with chemical WMD's it's war crime, crimes against humanity, Geneva Convention...
See ya at Nuremberg.

Over most of my life I’ve probably sounded like quite a jingoist, but really —haven’t we been mucking around in enough CIVIL WARS...? They’re acting like we’re loaded to the gills with cash and influence, and fighting with inanimate robots.
We’re broke, troops are living beings, and this LEAPS to mind as NONE of our freaking business.
Besides the Balkans and Africa it strains my mind to imagine a place more deserving of the USA steering clear.

I wouldn't muck around any further than the North end of Alaska.

True. Let Russia and Iran pay the costs of ‘nation building’ the rubble and rabble that’s left if they want to. If we don’t like how they’re doing it we can rag on ‘em at the UN. It’s not our obligation to fix everything in the world.

Suspicions the "activists" are more dangerous than anyone knows. Lines in the sand type times, and here we go walking in supporting the wrong crowd again. That supporting the wrong crowd can get ones' head in a heap of trouble. Fingerprints of the majority say they support the wrong crowd, as usual. No surprise. The world is simply waiting on the signal to bend over to kiss their backsides goodbye.
