Senate Bill 776: Revise ballot initiative petition detail
Passed 26 to 10 in the Senate on March 10, 2016, to establish that signatures on a petition to amend the constitution must be collected within the 180 days before the measure is submitted. Under current law there is a presumption that an older signature is void, but this can be rebutted in an administrative procedure. The bill would remove that “rebuttable presumption” language, making older signatures void without qualification.

House Bill 4747: Exempt governments from adverse possession
