At the same time we have plenty of folks in this neighborhood packing AUTOMATIC WEAPONS ~ they work for the embassies and other international organizations in the area.
Most of these third worlders laugh at our idea that semi-auto is good enough ~ they also grow up with their own personal RPG if they are part of an hereditary warrior group.
I didn't grow up around automatic weapons, but I did learn a lot about them in the service, so one of the last things I ever want to do is convince some guy who has one that he should fire in my general direction. You just don't want that ~ not ever. Actually, I don't want them firing in your general direction either.
They tend to knock a lot of other stuff loose so you have the rounds, the highspeed trash, splintered bullets, and noise.
