How would you feel about suspending the right to vote in federal elections to people who receive money or benefits from the federal government?

I would be all for it, even though I would be disenfranchised as a disabled veteran receiving benefits. I think anyone who takes a check from the government should forfeit the right to vote. Also anyone who does not pay taxes. Originally, the franchise was limited to property owners. Not a bad idea.

Include government workers (I don’t know if you had them in “receive money”) and the Dem Party is gone. If nothing more, this past election (for those who didn’t see it already) drew a stark distinction between grasshoppers and ants.
