Fair enough ~ mother gives spare kidney to child. I'd do that. Everybody here but a couple of them would do that. I know a fellow who gave a chunk of his liver to a neighbor, and another guy who received a kidney from a young person in a large family he'd helped over the years.

People do that.

Now, raising money for the surgery ~ people do that too.

Here's how I deal with the youngman's political commentary ~ he's too ignorant to know how to say anything meaningful on the matter and secondly, it does look different being on the receiving end than the giving end.

Someday everything will be different ~

I’m wondering, since he believes he has a “right” to healthcare - does he also believe he has a ‘right’ to his mother’s kidney - if she chose not to ‘privilege’ him her kidney, does he think he has a ‘right’?

Since he thinks there should be a ‘right’
