Another 350,000 workers magically disappeared from the work force or this would have been another disastrous report. Is there a total number of these workers who have disappeared since Obama took office?

Thank you. I knew some FReeper would know the answer to my question. CNBC gave today’s number of “missing” workers as 350K, but they are part of the NBC ObamaBot cult, so your number is probably more valid.

Keep talking like that and some more of us may “disappear” before ya know it. LOL! Yup, really odd that we “actually” see a drop in the unemployment “claims”. Another “unexpected” result of uncle obie’s omnipotence I guess. In retrospect, did the dems ever seem really concerned leading up to the election? Kind of like obie’s comment to medvedev about having more flexibility after the election. Like there was no doubt that he would be back in. I’m startin’ to think that all of the dems could have stayed home on 11/6 and we would have had the same outcome.

Share the lead.

Also, where are the hundreds of thousands of college grads getting employed?

"Another 350,000 workers magically disappeared from the work force or this would have been another disastrous report."

A small bit of correction in the labor participation rate criticism:

The baby-boomers are now hitting retirement in big numbers (following the WWII babies, whose numbers were small). This has some downward effect on the participation rate, though dropping 0.2% in one month is pretty huge).
