Cell phone system / flash riots. Won’t a flip of the switch shutting down cell phone service quell the rioters or their reaction time?
Of course this leaves everyone else in the dark also. 30 mile rate two way radios on the shopping list.
The flash mob only needs their cell phones to get the ball rolling. Cutting cell service once riots are in progress in a certain area is closing the barn door after the horses have fled. Plus, police, paramedics, firefighters etc also use the cell system to take reports from citizens. House or shop is on fire? Rioters are smashing your windows? You won't be able to report it if they take down cell service. Paramedics, cops and firefighters on the way to work can't report in or be notified, etc. Cutting cell service would cause as many problems as it solves in the face of riots.
