If I recall, the only thing we ever had on tv was the Chicago Cubs games.....Milwaukee braves........and some Space Patrol show that I liked.....but radio was still king.

In '52 and '56, I wore both "I Like Ike" and "All the Way with Adlai" buttons around school. Why not? That was a zillion miles away! Maybe adults got mad about it but not us.
