I fully agree.
I wouldn’t want Bob to have a gun in that situation, either. A gun in the hands of a total idiot isn’t likely to do any good and may do harm.
On the other hand, a gun in the hand of a trained, capable citizen... well, that’s a very different matter.
Just more anecdotal evidence as to why our military is primarily made up of Conservatives.
