I'm wearing mine today.
Actually, I was wearing it before I read the article, and I was wearing them long before before I ever heard of Rick Santorum.
I guess it's an 80s thing with me. ;-) I started wearing sweater vests when it was appropriate to “dress down” suits. Also, in cold Michigan and Iowa weather, where I spent most of my life before moving to the South a dozen years ago, I could wear summer-weight suits longer into the fall and earlier in the spring with some added warmth. Once three-piece suits went out of fashion, wearing sweater vests became a good replacement for the vest part of a suit.
I wear a vest when I’m outdoors cutting wood. It has a Monsanto logo.
Wife’s dad worked as a sales rep...
Rick made an appearance here at Lake of the Ozarks this past summer and we liked what he had to say. Pity he dropped out.
