Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) took a public shot at House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) Tuesday night, in the wake of a shake-up that knocked a small group of conservatives off prominent committees.
Justin Amash ✔ @repjustinamash Still waiting for call from GOP leadership. Are they too embarrassed to explain they booted me for working to reduce debt? 4 Dec 12 ReplyRetweetFavorite
Amash, a libertarian-leaning conservative, was taken off the House Budget Committee. Tea party-backed Rep. Tim Huelskamp (Kan.) was taken off Budget and Agriculture. Reps. Walter Jones (N.C.), a rare moderate, and David Schweikert (Ariz.) lost their spots on the Financial Services Committee. Amash, Huelskamp and Schweikert were all first elected in the 2010 Republican wave.

No it’s not. Boehner is a turncoat, RINO, commie-lover. What’s to investigate? Boehner is getting rid of anyone who will vote to oppose him in January just to show the newbies who is boss.
If Bonehead is willing to raise taxes. Is amnesty far behind? After all the GOPe’s will need to add new illegal voters to replace conservatives who
are fed up.
You're confusing FR with DU.
And for anyone with a brain to equate Boehner with Stalin is going to extremes. I'm old enough to remember Stalin and his killing of millions.
Freepers who fall for this crazy talk are nuts and incapable of individual thought.

Somebody needs to do something about Boehner and the RNC idiots because the Dems are setting up for permanent one party communist rule.
To be honest, it is as if the GOP is daring conservatives to leave. They act like this because they believe conservatives won’t go anywhere, because there is no choice other than the GOP. This belief allows them to move more to the left, to occupy the moderate left space vacated by the democrats sharp left turn.
This reasoning has two large mistakes:
1. Lefties of any kind won’t leave the Rat party, even if the GOP adopts some liberal causes. The recent history of the Rat party shows that once the move to the left starts, it doesn’t stop, because demands keep increasing.
2. Conservatives may or may not leave, but they will not vote, as can be seen from the last 2 presidential elections. When conservatives are enthusiastic, you get 2010.
I think that all the secession talk is great, but the focus is wrong. It should not be states that secede, but conservatives should secede from the GOP to start with. Forming a strong conservative 3rd party that will get 25-30% of the national vote, and dominate in many local elections, will force the GOP to form a coalition at the national level, with guaranteed representation for conservatives in the coalition.
Should the GOP not want to do that, it will become irrelevant, and lose closet liberals to the Rats, and conservatives to the third party, as there is really is no middle ground left at this point as Boner and the other RINO’s want us to believe.
I am quite happy as a conservative to take on the role of strong national opposition for the next couple of elections. Strong conservatives as opposition will not stand for all the crap that the Rats are throwing out, and will use any legal means to oppose any and all illegal and unconstitutional acts by congress and the executive branch.
In the meantime, a strong local and state ground-game will continue to be built, and that will translate to a strong national presence in 6-10 years. At that time the GOP will become the minority partner in the coalition, and disappear into the sunset if they don’t want to play ball.
We don’t have to play the two party game any more. It is abundantly clear that constitutional conservatives are no longer welcome at the GOP, and that conservative ideologies are not part of the party platform. Time to force the issue...
You all want each others' approval and to hell with the truth.
When you have no statesmen in D.C. noting changes in D.C.
Al Capone grins.

You're too kind. He's much worse than that.
You cannot possibly be serious. You’re willing to equate Boehner with the killer of millions? You, and the other lemmings here on FR have no credibility. I remember the horror of Stalin. I even remember the day Stalin died—March 5, 1953—it is seared in my mind. The man was a horror. You cannot possible even understand what you’re saying and you, and the others like you here on FR owe all those killed by Stalin a great big apology for belittling what happened to them.
Talk about extremists, you guys are extremists. I am sick over this that this charge can be leveled at Boehner and I am the only one pointing out the horror of the allegations.
Im starting to believe him and other RINOs may have been given some of that stimulus money, you know, the billions that no one knows where it all went, except the political elite that is, and Im sure they will all have a Merry, Merry, Christmas, besides Bonehead just cleared the committees decks so Emperor Odumba will have a Merry Christmas too and a Happy New Year!
So, just exactly what votes of theirs do you object so strenuously to?
BTW - you’d better back up your little invective-spewing Prius there, granny. You don’t know me, and you have no legitimate reason to vent on me.
Another BTW - a person can refer to Stalin-like tactics or Hitlerian methods without equating anyone to either. Stalin used strong-arm tactics (like boehner has just used), Hitler used the tactic of blaming a scapegoat and whipping emotions into a froth (like barry does). Pointing out similarities in another politician’s tactics is NOT tatamount to calling them a mass murderer. Like, if I stated that you had Jane Fonda’s eyes, only an idiot would think I was claiming you sat on anti-aircraft guns.
I agree. Boner, McConnell and the other RINOs have made a deal that will give Obama a big, wet kiss before he splits for his multi-million dollar Hawaiian vacation. The fix is in.
Answer this: How many times has Boehner completely caved to Obama?
Karl Rove, is that you?
The sooner we realize they're all the opposing team, the better we can deal with them, appropriately.
How many has Boehner killed? Did he deserve to be equated to Stalin? You people are nuts.
