I’m out. Sold my practice in August. If I had waited until Jan 2013 the capital gains on the sale would have cost me tens of thousands more. I feel sorry for docs who may be too young or who have taken on too much debt to get out. My brother is in that situation. He is a very unhappy internist.
I’m looking at overseas jobs. Good pay, less taxes. I just need a couple more years.
