My friend worked in Milan; they had emergency pollution days (in which only mass transit was allowed) and occasional transit strikes, but she liked it.
Knowing Italian would certainly help; Spanish is close.
11/6/12 made me realize there was going to be little economic growth here, and that a lot Americans still believe the European-style socialism (which has failed miserably) is viable. As a Spanish speaker, I could live in an increasingly-Hispanic country; I just don’t think I want to do it in NJ.
