>> This man Boehner, his ego is massive.

Much larger than his concern for our Liberty.

One of the systemic problems with Congress (both chambers) is that the outgoing Congress gets to vote for the leadership of the new incoming Congress. The new people that we vote in don't get to participate in the vote for their own leadership.

Usually, we say that future Congresses are not bound by the votes of prior Congresses, apparently except for the votes on future leadership positions. For some reason, the parties hold their leadership votes during the lame duck session, and not after the new Congress convenes.

To: i88schwartz; All

Time to get our GOP reps to not vote for Boehner before the new Congress convenes in January

If that does not do it....then sit out the vote for Speaker. If enough GOP abstain from voting....Pelosi gets the Speaker...which is not much different than Boehner as Speaker. The GOP still has enough of an advantage to kill any nutty Dem bills....and it will de-nut Boehner

The GOP needs to pull its head out of its arse and get with the Conservative program. 2014 is going to be a rough year for many of them

Bonehead is a closet liberal and should be replaced as speaker.

Nothing in the Constitution requires the Speaker to be a member of Congress. Mark Levin for Speaker of the House. We need a drill seargent to run the place.

You know, it would sure be nice if Rush could help Mark with this just a bit. Rush makes feeble attempts at be critical of Boehner. Mark calls a spade a spade.

Come on Rush, quit leaving all of the heavy lifting to Levin!

Luvs me a good Levin rant - especially when he’s so dead-on!

"Because he's not smart enough to argue against it, and moreover he's unprincipled."
That says it all.

When you don't stand for anything, you have nothing to fall back on when times get tough. All the GOP-e cares about is getting re-elected; as such, they're slaves to the consultants/focus groups, most of whom are left-of-center.

Without core beliefs, it's impossible to win negotiations....you have no starting point.

Who does Boehner think he is? Maybe he thinks he is Nancy Pelosi.

But she is a lot tougher than Boehner will ever be.

Compared to Pelosi, Boehner is a sissy.

Answer: Sobber of the House Boehner is the Leader of the House RINOs.

BTW, have you forgotten the RINO’s Motto? Here it is: “Cave-In when any Democrat tells you to, and ALWAYS lose at all costs.”
