I agree. Romney was an idiot who could barely tie Obama in the polls, why is everyone shocked he lost? The Republicans are fractured and marginalized, the Democrats are concentrated and committed. They had better organization and stayed on message. The Republicans were all over the place etch-a-sketching. Also it didn’t help that the candidate was Willard!

That was a lot of post, and it had zero relevance to my post, so I don’t know what it is I’m supposed to be denying or not.

I don’t care what you think of social conservatives, but you should despise Karl Rove for going on TV and blasting our nominees during the week of their primary win, to make sure that he destroys their chances.

By the way, you left off the worst candidate of all, Mitt Romney.

Thank God for the tea party, Palin won Ted Cruz a Senate seat, and was responsible for our only Senate pick-up, Deb Fischer, and some congressional seats.

Romney may have been a disaster, but Palin had a pretty good election.

“That is politics 101 - plain and simple.”

I believe the GOP lost its base,

This election they got previous obama voters. We lost because of voter fraud. Plain and simple. Are they talking about it? No. Can they? No. So now you know. Are they talking about anything the commies do? No.

No, we didn’t.

We lost because our politcal party ****ING SUCKS.

If it didn’t ****ING SUCK, then it would not stand for voter fraud occurring at all.

Whatever happened in 2012 happened as a direct result of the GOP ****ING SUCKING.

I’m not sure if I said that the GOP ****ING SUCKS enough, so let me just summarize by saying that the GOP ****ING SUCKS!

Pardon my French, I’m tired of being back stabbed by a party that ****ING SUCKS.

Who cares that I don’t watch FOX or who cares about Rove? They still have Heraldo, She-phard, Juan and many others. At least some of the others are honest enough to say they are Democrats. Except for Cavuto, Lou, Greta and maybe one other, the rest of them would fit right in on CNN. I watch FOX Business Channel and will do so until the end of December when I have to cut it off because of $$. That channel I will miss.

I first got severely turned off by Foxx - which I used to have on, at least in the background pretty much all evening - by the way they treated Newt in the primary season. But it wasn’t just Rove, though he was catainly one prime culprit. I was ESPECIALLY disgusted by Brit Hume, whom I had previously admired and respected.

I simply couldn’t figure out what Hume was so openly, blatantly dismissive and hostile to Newt. Then I did some research and learned that he bizarrely and mistakenly blamed Newt for the suicide of his faggot son. That the network has never to this day disclosed this blatant conflict of interest is corruption of the highest form.

I did not see a melt down but now that we’re purging, how about Tamara Holder (Jesse Jackson’s mistress) and Santita Jackson (his daughter). These two make me almost as sick as Sally Kohn and Alan Colmes. Although Alan is the ugliest and I’ve looked at him the longest....so first get rid of Alan, then the rest. IMO

Why did you put your faith in them to begin with? Why didn’t you learn in ‘08?

Why didn’t you see the obvious when they rammed Romney through and the pathetic display in the primaries - candidates on the panel who has no chance in hell to be president making believe you had so many choices!

Why didn’t you have a clue when they went into overdrive on Sarah for four years? The ONLY one who stuck up for her was Newt! What were you doing, learning French?

No, I learned French in high screwel.

Forgot most of it by now though.

I did learn in 08’. I saw very clearly. There was sadly no other viable choice, but what makes it even sadder is that the GOP itself is not a viable choice.

I stuck with the GOP this election because I want Obama out. To do anything else would have been contrary to that goal. However, the goal was not achievable in reality. Thus having lost, I am no longer fearful of losing. I do not fear at all what will happen if I bolt the GOP, because it’s the exact same thing that will happen if I don’t bolt the GOP.

Therefore, I am now free to reject their open backstabbing at their peril. Screw them. If they like to lose so much, then lose. They’ve mastered it, they should have no trouble pulling off an utter, total, complete crushing defeat in 2014 and then in 2016, assuming of course that those elections actually occur.

I will represent my own rights and beliefs. I do not need or want this feckless group of pussies to do a damn thing for me. So help me God if they run Jeb Bush in 2016, I will vote democrat all the way down. If they do not have the balls to make the democrats own what’s coming, then I will make the democrats own what’s coming by electing as many of them as I can.

Republican = enemy.

I watched it, and it did not seem bad. They keep Bob Beckel on who has dropped the F-bomb live t least twice. The keep on their stars, who regularly invite Black Panthers and treat the with respect. Rove did NOTHING in comparison.

You want to see a meltdown? Watch me go off on libertarians some time.

yeah, how DARE someone think they can make personal decisions YOU disagree with.

The very NERVE of individuals!

Yet another control freak masquerading as a "CONSERVATIVE".

Pathetic, and beneath contempt.

Oh, and it is VERY likely that your response will be unworthy of response, since it will be a personal attack, followed by much ad-hominum, none of which is based in any fact other than the author's personal vendetta.

Have the day you deserve.

HOLY MOLY! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am glad the snake in the grass is toast. I checked out the site at the end of the article on Rove being the first casualty. I am overjoyed.
For social conservatives, the treason began long before election day, when Rove led the party's tar-and-feathering of Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin, after Akin’s now infamous “legitimate rape” comments. The GOP’s perceived betrayal of Akin confirmed what many grassroots conservative activists had long suspected: That the Republican Establishment was willing to throw the base under the bus to serve the interests of deep-pocketed donors.
Chief among Rove’s critics is David Lane, a powerful evangelical kingmaker and conservative operative who organizes briefings between pastors and politicians. In an email obtained by Business Insider, Lane lays out his criticism of Rove and sets the stage clearly for the coming war between the GOP Establishment and the party base.
Lane writes:

Karl Rove presents a different problem — while [evangelical leaders] are politically naive (from my angle) — Karl is not, he's as shrewd as a serpent.

Karl is far more formidable...in the presidential Republican primary in 12’, Karl stepped on Rick Perry and then Newt Gingrich every chance he got — albeit with deceit and sophistication — and elevated Mitt Romney at strategic, crucial points along their way to the Republican nomination — Rove’s candidate.

As an example of how sophisticated Rove is…Karl Rove was out raising money to keep Santorum alive until they could kill Newt — Santorum basically ran for Governor of Iowa in 2011, visiting all 99 counties; Santorum, out of Iowa, had no organization, no money and no chance in 2012 to be the Republican nominee; he was only a stalking horse for Mitt Romney — Rove kept Santorum alive until he could kill Rick Perry first, and then Newt Gingrich.

To you and all the people who just wanted Obama out, don’t take a doufous to a political campaign ~ bring a real candidate who’s willing to call a spade a spade and kick some butt!

I’m not watching Fox anymore. I’m over it. The country went over the brink. Theres no more “hoping” for the election to bring us back to our senses. I wonder if their ratings have dropped since the election

I, for one, am glad they are downgrading Rove. He is wrong and he wasted a lot of money. He doesn’t deserve the reputation he has. Its time for him and the rest of the Bush era team to move on. And Morris is good for some entertainment value but he has been wrong so many times over the past 10 years that it isn’t funny. Its probably time for him to go too. And while we’re at it, Barone has egg all over his face too at this point. We have no good conservative poll analysts at this point.

Rove did not have an election night meltdown. He was right at that particular time to say that the call should have waited a bit.

I would, however, take him off the air for his “spectacularly wrong” predictions of a Romney win. Morris is simply too wrong too often to be believable.

Rove should have been eased out when earlier in the campaign he jokingly advised the assassination of Akins, the MO senate candidate.

Morris should have been eased out for being “spectacularly wrong” for a long period of time.

The best commentating talking head that Fox has right now, imho, is Judge Napolitano. It’s a shame in regards to life, that he’s a liberatarian. But, when it comes to making the complex simple, that man is a genius communicator.

His explanation of the Veterans Gun Rights Issue two days ago was so clear, concise, and on the money, that it would have been virtually impossible to walk away from hearing that explanation without knowing that issue inside and out.

Napolitano is gifted.
