realistic?

immediate tax hikes and no spending cuts? because if they aren’t immediate, they ain’t onna happen

Not likely the Senate will pass my version of Doomday; if they did, doubt Obama would sign.

We could, in good faith, argue we tried to save the middle class from tax hikes.

We get another shot with the debt ceiling for spending and entitlement savings.

We are fighting terrorists. They don't care if they blow up the country of the economy. Their principles are more important.
