It’s tough to have much sypathy for the farmers at this point. They had to see what happened to the former “bread basket of Africa” when the thugs took over and turned Rhodesia into Zimbabwe. They didn’t know the communist thugs who took over South Africa were likewise going to turn South Africa into Zimbabwe?
Those farmers should have run through the door without opening it first.

so are some Christian church workers that I know who are white AND OBAMA will not allow them in the U.S. even though middle eastern muslims, black Somali muslims, Mexicans, and South Americans are allowed in here in droves.
It's tough to walk away from your home, your work, your friends, your country, and the life your family has had for decades, or even generations.
And rebuilding your life, probably with limited money, in a new country, with perhaps a new language, well, that's about as daunting as it gets to any family man over 35 years old.
In hindsight, sure, you're 100% right.
But the “liberation” of SA was accompanied by international optimism and mixed race jubilees where whites and Blacks vowed to work together for a free and prosperous South Africa.
It was a complete fraud, but it's easy to understand why so many whites drank the Kool Aid.
At least some of them have been denied residence here. One was the wife of a conservative opinion journalist. They became angry afterward, and it showed in some of their articles after that. I don’t know any other details and withhold their names due to controversies and their desire for privacy on the matter.

Time for all the Afrikaners to leave South Africa and settle in English speaking nations. Failing that, there’s plenty of countries in Latin America to settle. Chile, Costa Rica are several good picks.
