“The Bible tells us “an eye for an eye”. Neither the teacher, nor the principle were ignorant....”
I wasn’t aware that you personally knew them. The New Testament instructs us to love our neighbor as our self. The “eye for an eye” is Old Testament. If I do something ignorant I’d prefer someone speak to me and enlightens me rather than dragging me into court and destroying my life and my career. Of course if I don’t subsequently change, then I deserve what I get.
“...the liberal-run teachers unions are doubling down to exercise total control over the children....”
That may be true, however the incident I mentioned happened many years ago.
“These people are evil and they are evil deliberately.”
Again, I didn’t realize you knew the specific people. They seemed pretty horrified when presented with documentation and the ramifications. They were truly sorry, and were truly ignorant. I’m pretty sure it sparked adequate fear in them of what could have potentially happened that they had a “there but for the grace of God go I” moment, which from their reaction seemed punishment enough. There are enough evil teachers that we don’t need to besmirch the ones that are honestly trying, even if at times ignorant and misguided. Lets not paint them all with the same brush. Thankfully, my daughter only had to be in public school a few years due to severe economic hardship.
I don’t have to know them, personally. I have been a teacher and a technical trainer. I’ve seen what they do in the classroom and I have seen the aftereffects.
IOW, I have walked a mile in their mocassins.
They were only horrified that you caught them, not at their ignorance.
