I feel the same way you do....How do we do it? do we have the time to do it? Can we do it..knowing how stupid the masses are? And how do you deal with the lies and the media backing those lies.
Part of me wants to get fired up and start working..part of me wants to run to the mountains and go Galt with guns.
Can we do it..knowing how stupid the masses are? And how do you deal with the lies and the media backing those lies.

I don’t think we can do it. We are entering an age as unpredictable as what our great-grandparents experienced when the automobile and the radio and the telephone, etc changed the world.
Every child today has instant access to liberal lies, and they sound so sweet and normal to them. The messages they absorb come from the leftists who have positioned themselves in places of ‘education’ and ‘entertainment’ where the message of Big Benevolent Government is constant, and the concepts of Liberty and Personal Responsibility are counter to the ‘good of the whole.’
Republicans in Congress are now in the position of General Washington and the Continental Army as they were retreating from the British in December 1776.
Washington did not quit, but instead convinced his troops to go back across the Delaware River - in a snow storm - and attack the Hessian troops at Trenton, NJ.
I see our only hope for the future is a total last ditch stand by our House of Representatives this month - and I plan to phone as many of their offices as I can to leave this exact message!
Thanks to all for their thoughtful responses to my post about how to get the Tea Party launched as a third party. I got called away and couldn’t keep up in realtime with the Sunday Talk Show thread yesterday.
With all due respect to those who believe the tea party patriots should keep trying to take over the Republican party, I think the examples of the Indiana and Missouri Senate campaigns, and the way the RINOs refused to back our candidates, has led me to my belief that there is no point in pursuing a place in the Republican party any longer.
And, given the fact that I started my political life at age 14 manning the Goldwater booth at the Maryland State Fair, I make the above statement with some regret.
All the same, I’m convinced the TP needs to incorporate as an independent party and begin launching candidacies at every level possible. The idea being to first kill off today’s feckless Republican party for good; and then to be in position to challenge the Demoviks.
The one very finite idea I do have at this point is that the first place to launch this effort at the local level ought to be in the unwinnable blue states. Because the Republicans are weakest there to begin with; and because the tough trial-and-error trail a new party must travel is probably better traveled where less is at stake.
And, again, I do have great respect for those like bray who want to stay inside the Republican party and fight there. I just don’t think it will work for more reasons than I can ever list here.
