I'm leaning toward Patterson to replace Dewhurst. Dewhurst stepped on his crank this last election, and lots of folks know that.

We don't know who is going to throw their hat into the ring, so the only ones we know about are Bush(maybe) and Perry.

I don't cotton to the idea that the office has to go to some pre-declared list of 'who is next'. That's way too GOP-E for me.

I'll vote for Kinky if there isn't a real conservative for the almost useless position of governor.

I'm much more concerned about Lt. Governor and Speaker.
