I like Perry. I think the GOPe wants him out - Texas is doing too good and some from other states expressed interest in moving there.

All the negativity he will have to put up with will not be fun because the MSM will not be on his side.

You don't understand Texas politics. The only thing a Governor really has is the bully pulpit. He can't start legislation, he can't control the agenda, he can't do much at all.

Texas isn't doing well with Governor Goodhair. Texas is doing well because of hard-@$$ grass roots, despite what Dewhurst (GOP-E) and Straus (GOP-E) can do to thwart that.

From the sounds of it, there are Freepers who are not on his side, either but I don’t understand why. I view him favorably and even supported him at the caucus. I know there are those who cannot forget his gaffes at the debates but I cared more about his record. Hey, what do I know, I never choose the right one at the caucus.
