Four people were shot and killed Friday night and Saturday morning, and a fifth person who may have been dead for days or weeks was found with gunshot wounds.

In addition to the shootings, a man was stabbed to death on the Southwest Side about 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

At least 11 others were wounded by gunfire in shootings from the Uptown neighborhood on the north to the Chatham neighborhood on the south, police said.

A few days ago, I was in a hotel lobby and CNN was on a TV. I saw the image of a white guy flash multiple times and the graphic read something about similarities to the Treyvon Martin incident. Though that is, by comparison, news, the rare white-on black crime violent crime, liberals refuse to acknowledge these incidents for fear of reprisal and their typical naivete. And by the way, the reporter on CNN, who aired the report regarding similarities, has an interesting home page; this is who is producing news stories.
