Theoretically, the whole TWA800 issue has been put into the "crackpot theory" file. I don't buy that. I spoke with pilots and air traffic controllers who said that it was definitely a missle that took the plane down. Who knows? But what strikes me as very telling is that it so quickly became "verboten" to entertain the notion that anything but a spark in the center fuel tank could have possibly been the cause. I see Benghazi going the same way. It's "settled science" as they say, so shut up already.
