Betty Friedan spent her young womanhood as a writer/propagandist for the newspaper of the Communist Electricians' Union. You won't find that in (Prog-sanitized) Wikipedia, but just metasearch on "Betty Friedan" +Communist and see what you get.
Look at it this way, too. Imagine an ethnic pie-chart of US society. Mark out the ethnoi, and leave the Caucasian European-Americans white. Now divide it in two, and mark one-half with the Venus symbol, and the other half with the Mars symbol. NOW do you see the significance of "feminism"?
Feminism was always a bad beef, a big bucket of puke and b.s. -- but it was never intended to be actually true, it was always, but always, operational truth intended to motivate American women to turn against male society and bitch, bitch, bitch!
They didn't have to become Communists. All they had to do was push a beef -- or beeves -- to divide the country, to put the whole thing into play.
It's so cynical I want to puke. And society honors that woman!
“Feminism” worked well; now those same hags are whining because nobody will impregnate them. They are living the lives of white men (no excuse to leave the office early due to sick children), and they are HATING it. Who cares? I’m glad they get to pass schoolyards full of Hispanic/Asian children every day on their way to work, while the mothers of those children (while many work) get to raise the children American women CAN’T have because nobody is stupid enough to give them to them.
Elections (and laws, and “cultural shifts”) have consequences.
