A painting depicting President Obama in a religious pose is now on display at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, and its garnering some protests from those who think its blasphemous.
Artist Michael DAntuono originally planned to display the piece in an art installation in New Yorks Union Square on the presidents 100th day in office, but so many protesters contacted him about ithe received over 4,000 emailsthat he canceled the event. Its something he says he regrets now.
I always regretted cancelling my exhibit in New York because I feel my First Amendment rights should override someones hurt feelings, DAntuono said.

I don’t think he looks like Jesus in the painting...more like one of those faggy Roman emperors.
I just know that someday historians are going to look back at this period of time and say to themselves WTF happened.
Rev 13:
1 Then I saw a beast emerge from the sea: it had seven heads and ten horns, with a coronet on each of its ten horns, and its heads were marked with blasphemous titles.
2 I saw that the beast was like a leopard, with paws like a bear and a mouth like a lion; the dragon had handed over to it his own power and his throne and his immense authority.
3 I saw that one of its heads seemed to have had a fatal wound but that this deadly injury had healed and the whole world had marvelled and followed the beast.
4 They prostrated themselves in front of the dragon because he had given the beast his authority; and they prostrated themselves in front of the beast, saying, ‘Who can compare with the beast? Who can fight against it?’
5 The beast was allowed to mouth its boasts and blasphemies and to be active for forty-two months;
6 and it mouthed its blasphemies against God, against his name, his heavenly Tent and all those who are sheltered there.
7 It was allowed to make war against the saints and conquer them, and given power over every race, people, language and nation;
8 and all people of the world will worship it, that is, everybody whose name has not been written down since the foundation of the world in the sacrificial Lamb’s book of life.
9 Let anyone who can hear, listen:
10 Those for captivity to captivity; those for death by the sword to death by the sword. This is why the saints must have perseverance and faith.
This man has just blasphemed all of leftwing political correctness too!!
Sometime in the near future it may cost you your life...
to make fun or mock this idiot.. or one like him..
Idiocy becomes normal way way too easy on this planet..
Message: Obama being unfairly treated by those who hate him.
Maybe he thought Obama was going to lose; so this was set to go.
This makes me think that people like this, expect others to accept their bigotry and anti Christ thinking; kinda like gay behavior; approve of my choice, approve of me for acceptance, I need validation. Is that racist.
Invert it and put it in a clear vat full of urine, and let’s see if it looks familiar. Blasphemy is nothing new to “artists”.
I just hope FR is part of the archives.
Disgusting, but he has every right to do it — on his own dime.
Wonder what he would say about people trying to change the name of a CHRISTmas tree to a holiday tree?
“I always regretted cancelling my exhibit in New York because I feel my First Amendment rights should override someones hurt feelings, DAntuono said.”
People have been so dumbed down today. They have no idea what the first amendment is, or means.
Mr D’Antuono - the first amendment is NOT about you cancelling your exhibit so you don’t hurt people’s feelings. It has nothing to do with people getting upset with you talking and acting like a jerk.
The first amendment is that an OVERBEARING GOVERNMENT is not constitutionally allowed to shut down your free speech. Did the government stop your exhibit? No, YOU cancelled it yourself, you fool.
This always drives me crazy. Sheesh.
This reminds me more of that infamous Jane Fonda urinal poster that Christ on the cross .
Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit is the one unforgivable sin. We can notice and disapprove, but He will have the final say. God has spoken about how the end times will come and His Word is playing out. Instead of wasting energy on outrage against the Evil One and his minions, we should spend more time carrying the Word to others and looking at the fulfillment of prophesy with a comfort that bolsters our Faith.
