Drugs; Meth, Heroin, Crack, and anything new that science can come up with, zero restrictions.

These should be restricted to the same degree as the addictive mind-altering legal drug alcohol: sale only with a license, no sale to minors, etc. The War On Drugs is failing in all the ways that alcohol Prohibition failed.

(And as far as "anything new that science can come up with": they come up with new drugs because those new drugs are legal until law catches up; there will be fewer if any new drugs if they no longer enjoy that legal advantage.)

No one can accuse you of not being single minded and obsessed.

No one can accuse you of having the guts to actually argue for your position.

It appears that you will be hijacking this thread into yet another drug thread, it was pretty much dead anyway, so have fun.

While there are acknowledged problems with alcohol, I don’t think that studies have ever proven a connection with decreased IQ and schizophrenia from alcohol.

You are asking for defacto approval of drugs by the FDA that have shown that at least 2% of those who use the drugs develop schizophrenia with heavy use.

How many people do you know, who you would describe as having fried their brains on drugs? I’ve known several, several people who were hospitalized for mental illness that the doctors described as drug related.

The recent studies connect heavy marijuana use with schizophrenia. I had a friend whose brother spent most of his adult life in and out of mental hospitals due to a condition that the doctors said was the result of heavy drug use. My friend swore that the drug was just marijuana.
