No big deal. Just 2 socialists having lunch.
Romney is and always has been a liberal. He might as well switch parties.

Part of not being a banana republic is the ability of the rivals for the highest office in the government to still interact socially and civilly.
Should Romney have refused a meeting?
What good would that have done?

Part of pretending we’re not a banana republic.
Bitter foes they indeed were. Or so we thought. But it was all theater (see above sentence.)

Is it possible to disagree with someone and oppose their agenda without acting like a petulant child?
What is the strategic advantage of acting like a sore loser, a la Al Gore?
The President would have loved nothing more than if Romney had refused the invitation.

Were not a Banana Republic? Not yet, despite the growing number of quitters out there.

Who was it who said only man dines with the enemy?
Obama effed Mitt up the butt and now gets to gloat in his face...
...Romney has gone from a mistake on our part to an embarrassment and Obama is gonna play with himself tonight with these images on his mind.

Romney sent a big FU to his donors with this Lunch With Barack nonsense. Good riddance to Mittens and his incompetent campaign advisors. No More RINOS, ever.

Icouldn’t believe the lunch menu—Turkey chili...probably a a little lettuce or maybe a piece of fruit for dessert. OBummer shure didn’t spend as much money for lunch as he usually does. If there were any left-overs, he gave them to the help.
