Any chance it's because of what Clinton and the RATS pulled off with Banking Regulations they wrote. Like FORCING all lenders to give - and I mean GIVE - money to people whose odds of paying it back were next to zero! Or the massive fraud and corruption at Fanny and Freddy all under the eyes of the RAT controlled congress. Which iirc sort of had an effect on the Housing market and 'wealth' of all homeowners when the deadbeats went deadbeat on their loans.
And currently, like since king Barry claimed the throne the credit rating of the USA has been downgraded TWICE! Annnnnd that little gimmick of Barry's boys Hank and Timmy called Quantitative Easing, that thus far they pulled off twice: QE1 and QE2. Which sort of devalued the Dollar to the level of the the freaking Peso!
Wait, I was confused for a sec. I know now the above is wrong, my mistake. It was all Bush's Fault! It was him and his dang spending after that little thing that happened on Sept 11, 2001. So what if the NSYE was closed for a couple days and our economy was in a meltdown mode after it reopened due to uncertainty of the future.
But maybe worse of all, Dubya never promised us a Pony, or never gave us a FREE Bush-Phone dammit to hell! So it has to be all his fault. Yep, him and partner in crime, Darth Cheney -- Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!
Well to be fair, a significant number of former American jobs are now done in places like China.
