What a collective bunch of inept losers. Some basic rules of negotiation: (1) you don’t give away your negotiating position before the negotiations commence; (2) you speak with a single voice; (3) you define the debate on your terms, not theirs. e.g. “we won’t agree to tax increases on anyone” vs. “we want tax cuts for everyone, even the rich”.

Bush was warned when he caved into the Dems demands that the tax cuts would be time limited, that this would come back to haunt the GOP. The Dems and media always cast the debate in terms of the GOP wanting tax cuts for the wealthy, when the debate is really that the Dems want tax increases. The Stupid Party really is.

YEP - what YOU said. It is like WE the People do not have ANY representation in DC once they start giving away the farm. I am so sick to my stomach when the GOP does this. Get that darn McCainiac and lightfoot Lyndsey off our stage. Already giving in on the Rice thing - tax cuts and anything else the Dems want.
