By DONOVAN SLACK | 11/29/12 10:48 AM EST
White House Dossier's Keith Koffler reports on what could be a very touchy Christmas vacation:
President Obama is reportedly scheduled to be vacationing in Hawaii on January 2, the date billions in spending cuts and untold consequences for the economy will kick in if a deal is not reached on the fiscal cliff.
According to the Hawaii Reporter, residents who live in the area of Oahu where Obama and his family vacation have been told that the usual restrictions on their movements during an Obama stay will be in place for 21 days, from December 17 through January 6.
The White House has not officially announced the vacation, and it is unclear if the travel plans are finalized or if the Obamas will be in Hawaii for the entire three-week window covered by the restrictions.
In past years, the president has stayed behind in Washington negotiating with Congress, while first lady Michelle Obama and their daughters went ahead to Hawaii

By the way, there’s not even one “Mean” bone or streak in my entire body!!!
I showed my family the video of ol’ Hank re: Guam. My 16 yo daughter laughed and then was amazed that none of her friends had heard of it and, like your lib friends, insisted nobody in congress could be THAT stupid. :)
But the word can have SO many connotations... i pick #11 :)

Thanks for “liking” “ME!” Re: ol’ Hank...didn’t those coming to his defense try to blame his “stupidity” on some sort of “brain” related medical problem, or some such, to explain away his incoherence? (for lack of a better word)
yes, his spokesman mumbled something about “his medication”... funny thing. I’ve been on some strong painkillers in the past (well, and in the present) and they’ve never tricked me into believing an island could sink. :) :) :)

Wow. Karl Marx couldn't have said it any better. Beware anything NOT run by the Gub'mint!
These people are truly frightening.
Aren’t Christmas holiday vacations in Hawaii something that Americans look forward to for years & make plans months ahead of time?
Now- your once-in-a-lifetime trip will be restricted by Obama deciding to be there for 21 days?
How much financial impact will this be on the tourist business in Hawaii?
Selfish bastard.
As if he cares about anything but power and ice cream cones. If he stays behind, it will cost another 4-5 million bucks to cary Moose and her entoursage. Besides, tying up traffic is his forte'!
