They may be able to now fight a WWII type of war..
BUT under water(submarine) drones.. could put a kink in their plans..

While searching for F22 sorties.. they may get a surprise they didnt expect..
not overlooking limpet(style) drones invading their harbors..
Probably the chinese carriers are just PR programs.. anyway..

Considering the amount of damage a couple of goat herders did with nothing but scrap metal and unexploded ordinance, I would not dismiss a country with more military age fighting men than our entire population. Our main advantage has been technology. Watching that advantage evaporate in real time should be disconcerting.

I am currently in a Master's Degree program for Computer Science. About 1/3 of my class is Chinese. Not 2nd and 3rd generation Chinese Americans, I mean off the boat, completed their bachelor's degrees in China. They're perfectly friendly, bright and decent students, but that does not diminish the threat that China's rapidly increasing technological capability poses to our future. Our last remaining advantage is that our communists in power will not want to cede authority to their communists in power.
