“Its Constitutionality! None of the current elite of the GOPe represent that”
All Jeb has to do is promise the GOP that he can bring in more of the Latino vote than Rubio can. That’s all there is to it.
Strange fellows that politics. Jeb and Marco were once allies.

Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA4) for President 2016 No.
I'm sure Mr. McClintock is a great guy but Congressional Representatives have no business running for President. Sorry, but if you don't have "State Governor" somewhere on your resume, you're simply not qualified for the job.

I am surprised that the GOPe does not find a descendant of Herbert Hoover and run him or her for president.
We think alike. On another thread I suggested there might be a great-nephew or something, maybe a “Jeb Hoover,” we could run.

As though it's not bad enough having an anti-American marxist just get reelected, we now have to endure a drum beat for another CINO loser so we can anticipate another shellacking in 2016?

‘Goldwater was a couple of elections ahead of his time. He'd have unprecedented support from the right today.’
And the Conservatives of today have forums to defend him.
Today, the GOP is the Third Party, it has local candidates and no national presence.
Romney/McCain 2016
Romney/Bush 2016
TWB Bush/Dole 2016
???
I am starting to think that the GOP will not have a national 2016 campaign.

I am starting to think that the GOP will not have a national 2016 campaign. I'm starting to think the next GOP candidates will be running for election in a newly formed union of red states.
Let the GOP-e run Jeb Bush in the old blue union. Good luck, RINOs.

Now we know for certain why the Bushes were so adament in their support of Romney and why Barbara Bush was so anxious to put the loss behind us and start looking to 2016. If Jeb Bush does run and gets the nomination - I’m all about voting for a third party candidate.

I'll say it right here and right now: There's just no way in hell I'll vote for Jeb Bush, period.
Forget the fact the GOP-E want him to run. The fact is simply this: The Bush family has become the Republican version of the Kennedy's.
I do not believe that Family/Political Dynasties are the right thing for this country. Just HELL NO from me.
While I'll NEVER vote for a Democrat for office, I'll vote third-party (preferably TEA Party) if Jeb Bush runs and "wins" the nomination.
I don't think I need to explain why "wins" is in quotes.

And you're going to do what? Start a new 3rd party when there are already plenty of 3rd party's to pick from? I'm ready to rock and roll. Obviously, you're not. Enjoy your continued beating from the GOP-E.

“Give conservatives someone who fearlessly champions all we believe in, and that person will have support coming out of the woodwork.”
With all due respect, why didn’t that work with Todd Akin and Missouri voters?
He was a candidate as conservative as you are likely to find anywhere. Someone who “fearlessly championed” everything YOU believe in.
So what happened to him?

A Jeb Bush run will mean the Dems take all 57 states...
This family has become the poster-children for arrogance. The Dems and the Liberal Media will never shut up about the “Bush failures”....and many Social Conservatives will stay home after Jeb Bush wimped out on Terri Schiavo and let her die....when he had the power and the authority to stop her government-mandated murder

Since the Republicans ran such a lifeless campaign, and since the Bushes did not say a THING defending anything during all the 4 years obama and the media have slammed him and us.... and because of that.. we will have lost our nation... and they want to run another Bush? NO!
To: Timber Rattler
The good ole boys in the GOP don’t mind that the communist are taking over America as long as they can prostitute themselves into power. Bush needs to stay home, this makes me sick.

Exactly. Between 2010 and 2012, a fixation on “simon-pure” GOP candidates cost the Republicans 5 Senate seats they might otherwise have won easily. DE (2010) and IN (2012) are but 2 examples.
