Here is how to do it. Put the .22 round in sabots and mount the result in a .50 cal cartridge. Rechamber the rifle so it will accept the .50 cal cartridge and plink away. The effective range goes up to about 1000 yards and is useful against lightly armored vehicles out to 200 yards.

There two places on a transformer that could Be damaged by .22 gunfire.
One is too small to hit at 200 yards. The other that easy to hit at that range is too thick to be damaged.
I don't want to point out the exact spots, but anyone in the biz already knows.
The feds crying wolf about cyber attacks has fallen on a dumb media. Now they want to roll two birds with one stone.

Where do these people get their information??? A .22 LR has an effective range of 150 yrds ...Knowing their propensity for twisting facts, if they used any actual ballistics information at all it was from a .22-250.
