“I worked in the lab in R&D”
THE lab eh? So you worked in THE medical lab doing R&D and by inference it was in something related to this subject.
yet you don’t believe in vaccines.
No wonder we don’t have a cure for the common cold if the people working on it don’t believe in it.
Show me where I stated that I don’t believe in vaccines.
I did, in fact, state that i’ve had FIVE rubella vaccines. That’s a whole lotta vaccination for somebody who doesn’t believe in vaccination.
They will never cure the cold. vaccinate for it? sure, just as soon as they get a vaccine that works for it. There are multiple dozens of variants of that virus family though. So may the force be with them. And you.
Chase the genome is always a bad idea for humans. Always. Vaccines are no different than antibiotics in that regard. The recent 10Xvirulence pertussis mutation is proof enough of that. As a short term strategy they probably beat not vaccinating. Long term the bugs will win UNLESS you figure out how to TREAT the illness in question WITHOUT driving the bugs evolutionarily.
