Real tough for those 119 who developed fungal meningitis from 'tainted shots'...even tougher for the fatalities. Good thing those weren't 'mandatory'. Sure would hate to see that happen with a flu vaccine...thank G-d for 'QC'.

Those people who got fungal meningitis didn't get it from vaccines. They got the disease through spinal injections of (IIRC) a steroid suspension that was not properly sterilized, and that had been reformulated at a facility that had already been cited for health & safety violations. The fact that the drug was reformulated means that the facility didn't even manufacture it themselves; they took a drug manufactured elsewhere, altered, and resold it. That case has absolutely nothing to do with vaccinations, or even with the pharmaceutical industry as a whole.
