How Native Americans suffered because of the “European invasion of the Americas.”

In the United States, the process of appropriating land resulted in occasional injustices being committed against Indians. These injustices however arose only in those isolated cases in which individual Indians could claim legitimate rights of individual private ownership which the white settlers violated, such as having established a farm which white settlers appropriated. There was no injustice present in the settlers disregarding the arbitrary claims of the Indian tribes to political sovereignty over territory, nor in their disregarding the collectivist claims of the Indian tribe to economic ownership. Because of their arbitrary and collectivist claims to land ownership, the barbaric governments of the Indian tribes were destructive to inalienable individual rights and deserved to be overthrown by the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence.

He went on to compare the Founding Fathers to Nazi Germany. “How does a country deal with the fact that some of its most revered historical figures had certain moral values and political views virtually identical to Nazis?” he asked.

The principles of the Nazis, of altruism, collectivism, hostility to individual natural rights and freedom, statism, and de facto socialism were the opposite of the principles of the Founding Fathers, of egoism, individualism, natural nights and freedom, limited government, and capitalism.

But their heroes get a free pass for their sins, ie MLK being an adulterer and plagiarist, and Mandela being a terrorist. Their “mythology” must never be questioned too closely.
