Yeah. All over South America, Native Americans enslaved one another and sacrificed their victims on altars by cutting out their hearts while still living.

And in North America, many Indians proved themselves by tying their enemies to stakes and torturing them.

Then those cruel white guys came along and put a stop to their ancient customs!

Not that Indians were all bad. But neither were they all good, innocent little lambs. They had plenty of war and slavery to go around before the whites got here.

The First Thanksgiving was one of those times when both sides were on their best behavior.

Most of the mesoamerican native Americans(indians) practiced sacrifice and cannibalism. If an Aztec warrior was captured by the Txlaclacans they could expect to be sacrificed and/or eaten as well. 'such noble savages'
