Good evening/morning, spel...that is NOT good news. So far I’ve been pretty good about saying NO to everything that I don’t know. A couple times I have had to uninstall something and start again because I didn’t catch the autoloading of Chrome or the Google toolbar. I need to learn to READ the stuff that shows up on my screen.
Did you and the family have a nice Thanksgiving? Turkey or your own specialty?

Yes, we had a good, quiet Thanksgiving and still plenty of turkey leftovers.
Of course, it didn’t hurt that there has been wall-to-wall football all weekend. :-)
How about you and yours? Good day?

Actually Pubie, that's not a mandolin FRiend! It's a Greek bouzouki played by Drumbo pal, Hooter Eric Bazilian (nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year for writing and producing Joan Osborn's hit "If God Was One of Us").
An actor played the bouzouki at the beginning of the video, but that's Eric on the Drive-in screen at the end. His song-writing partner Rob Hyman is playing a Honer Melodica (aka "pianica", "blow-organ" and "key-flute") which the boys nick-named a "Hooter" in the late 70s when they had a band in PA called "Baby Grand". Baby Grand never got off the ground, but when they renamed the group "The Hooters" in the 80s, they found fame with a string of MTV hits including "Johnny B", "Day By Day", "And We Danced", "Where Do The Children Go" and their masterpiece
"All You Zombies".
The original video concept of "Danced" was to show the two old guys at the beginning flashing back to their carefree youth when Drive-ins were in style, but it was kind of lost in post-production and the old guys exploits were left on the cutting room floor.
Eric's an amazing talent with a state-of-the-art studio and he's still a driving force behind Joan Osborne and Cyndi Lauper, writing for and producing for both. He's co-written songs with Alannah Myles, Ronnie Spector, LeAnn Rimes, Bon Jovi, Journey, Patty Smyth, Scorpions, Bijou Phillips, Zucchero and he still finds time to help scores of young artists trying to break into the business.

He gets a bouzouki effect from a double guitar kind of instrument? That’s impressive. Great video. A Major never sounded better.
